After a great night’s sleep (just one middle of the night feeding) the little man woke at 9am very hungry. No surprises, he had been asleep for hours. But what surprised me was that he didn’t stop feeding! We had been averaging about an hour for a good feed and change but at 12pm he was still going! Surely this was not normal? Was my milk some how blocked? Had it dried up overnight? Help! But after a text to a friend whose little one is now 6 weeks old, so she is faaaar more experienced than me, she explained that he was just cluster feeding. Phew! Normal. So at 4pm (when Daddy Mac conveniently arrived home) the little man seemed to have had his fill. So our first day on our own was spent in the rocking chair feeding. All day. So with empty, saggy boobs I waddled off in search of food and a much needed wee!
